CHICAGO - Television fans of Chicago Fire were disappointed that the preview of season 29 was actually about the local Chicago Fire soccer team and not about the long running drama Chicago Fire.
“I thought someone was finally going to announce season 15,” stated one Chicago Fire fan. “We were worried about the way things were going with regards to negotiation, but in Joe we trust.”
Sources say that a quick lookup of Chicago Fire season will show fans who were worried about whether or not NBC would keep up the quality of the Chicago Fire roster with reported salary cuts upon the way.
“Look Chicago Fire is a stalwart to NBC and I think I speak for everyone in the Fire community when I say that cuts to the Fire roster will only make it more difficult for us to bring fans from the Chicago area into the Fire fold,” stated one Fire fan to The Nutmeg News. “If Chicago Fire want to remain competitive in the national market we need to ensure that the franchise is getting the best actors available.”
The Nutmeg News will have more on this as desperate fans muddy the water with both Fire franchises attempting to do more with less.
