United States Soccer Federation Explores "Total War" Option Of Eliminating Teams From The 2026 World Cup

CHICAGO - With the elimination of Iran from the 2026 World Cup, the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), reportedly, is exploring a “total war” option of eliminating teams from the tournament.

Sources indicate that the internal members of the USSF didn’t realize you could just instigate a war and bomb a country out of the World Cup as they stated, “look this opens some entirely plausible avenues towards winning this thing.”

According to insiders, the USSF is now split into two different factions with some arguing for competing in the tournament and winning the tournament on sporting prowess; and others arguing for just engaging in conquest until the world cup naturally belongs to the United States by virtue of subduing every country in the world to their whims.

“My argument is this,” stated one anonymous USSF staff member, “would you rather another 4-4-2/4-2-3-1/4-3-3 cycle or just a B-2 dropping some bombs on a city?”

The Nutmeg News will have more on this as news comes in that the USSF board is having oversite from President Trump.
