Fan Preparing To Suit Up For LA Galaxy.... Just In Case

LOS ANGELES - LA Galaxy fan Devon Burko admitted that he was preparing to suit up for the LA Galaxy, just in case they end up needing players after the team lost a number of players during the 2016 off season.

We caught up to Burko while the Galaxy fan was running wind sprints during his break working at the Nickel Diner.

"With the Galaxy losing Keane, Donovan, Magee, Leonardo, Gerrard, Larentowicz and the entire coaching staff.... I'm feeling the pressure," stated Burko. "I'm just getting ready so that in case Coach Onalfo needs me out on the field as an extra body, I'll be ready."

Reportedly, Burko last played organized soccer during his heyday as a midfielder/defender/goalkeeper for the Los Angeles Soccer Association youth soccer teams. However, he stated that he fully understands the commitment he made in following the Galaxy and stated that if they need an extra body on the field, he will be ready.

"I'm getting back in shape first, gonna drop 15 pounds, then I'll start working on my touch. Don't worry. I'll be ready to play by March. When Onalfo looks into the stands I'll just cross my arms, lower my sunglasses and silently mouth the words.... 'Put me in, coach. I'm ready' and he will know."
